Just watch the TV on a factory using SCM. It is important, the POS is online so that the factory can monitor the sales situation and order replenishment directly.
The stock rack had a LED indicator to instruct how many piece per item needed to be pick for a customer/store location so that the clerk do not need any pick ticket and it is a no brainer.
Really effective and efficient.
IT can really plan an important role in all aspect but just the people are too ignorant and implementer are also to imcompetent.
